Martha’s Ministry

 “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
 - Acts 20:35

While Mary was sitting at the feet of Jesus getting ministered to, Martha was busy in the kitchen! Now while we know Jesus told her she needed to take time to be with Him, we still need Martha's Ministry on occasion.

In times of need, Martha’s Ministry is there to care for those within our congregation who need our physical support in some way. We minister in such a way so that both the giver and receiver are blessed!

As a Martha’s Ministry Team Member you will help with:

Providing meals -   after childbirth, hospital stay, illness, family crisis, funerals etc.
Housecleaning - if someone is ill or incapacitated
Transportation - driving (to doctor’s office etc. or other important errands)
Babysitting - for the single mother or mother with husband away in the Military, or if someone is incapacitated

Martha’s Ministry also helps with: Banquets, Picnics, Party Décor & Flower arranging
