Greeters

As Greeters in the Welcome Center, the hub of the church where first impressions are often birthed, we function as ministers to both newcomers and established members, embracing the biblical principles that the church is a "kingdom of priests" (I Peter 2:9).

Understanding that initial impressions are often lasting ones, we exercise our roles as ministers by inspiring a warm and inviting atmosphere, one in which anyone will be able to sense the presence and the love of Jesus Christ upon entry; first time visitors will feel like family. Knowing that "[a] word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver" (Prov 25:11), greeters are not only prepared to offer timely words of encouragement and love, but they also serve as sources of information where knowledge about the Church's other ministries can be readily obtained.
