Convalescent Ministry
The convalescent ministry is ministry pure and simple. It’s an outreach service occuring every weekend at various nursing care centers in North County. This ministry consists of church members like you working together reaching out to invigorate life to those recovering from prolonged illnesses. We are the tools that can reach the unchurched, proclaim His will (healing/health/peace), win souls and visit and care for orphans and widows, just as the Bible teaches. Our philosophy – if they cannot make it to church – we will bring church to them.
A convalescent visit consists of visits to residents and a service with music, a message and personal prayer to those who request it. If you would like more information about this ministry and would like to help out in any way, please contact Paul or Candace Brown..
